What this course covers

Psychosomatics sits at the intersection of physiology and psychology. This course examines documented mechanisms: how chronic stress alters cortisol regulation, how suppressed emotional states correlate with gastrointestinal and cardiovascular disorders.

Who is this relevant for?

Practicing therapists, general practitioners, and counselors who regularly encounter patients with medically unexplained symptoms. If you have seen someone cycle through specialists without resolution, this course addresses that gap directly.

What the research actually shows

We work with peer-reviewed literature from neurogastroenterology, psychoneuroimmunology, and trauma studies. No speculative claims — only what has been replicated and peer-reviewed.

Practical application

Each module includes case analysis drawn from clinical settings in Eastern European contexts. Students practice identifying psychosomatic patterns in documented patient histories.

Olena Savchuk, clinical psychologist, Kharkiv — After completing this course I started recognizing patterns I had been missing for years. The case studies were close to what I see weekly in my practice.

The course does not promise clinical mastery after eight weeks. It builds a foundation that takes months of continued practice to consolidate.

This program is designed for Practicing clinicians and therapists participants with an interest in psychosomatics. Whether you are approaching this topic from a clinical background or personal curiosity, the structure adapts to different levels of prior knowledge.
The total program runs for 8 weeks, 3 sessions per week. Sessions are structured to allow time for both content delivery and group discussion.
